Australia-Japan Medical Research Symposium

Tokyo, Osaka

The Australia Japan Medical Research Symposium and mission to Japan from 9-12 September will bring together researchers from Japan and Australia with a particular focus on the ground-breaking work of early career researchers in the area of rare cancers, as part of Australia now Japan 2018.A symposium will be held in Tokyo on 10 September and in Osaka on 11 September.

The symposiums in Tokyo and Osaka consist of the following events:

 

  • Workshop for Australian and Japanese Early Career Researchers

This workshop presents a rare and valuable opportunity for early career rare cancer researchers to connect with senior government officials and Australian researchers in their field at the Australian Embassy. Researchers will present a quick pitch of their work.

This event is open to rare cancer researchers.

Venue:  Knowledge Capital Congre Convention Centre

 

  • Australia – Japan Medical Seminar and Poster Session on Rare Cancer

This seminar is an opportunity to hear from leaders in the field from both Japan and Australia. Following the seminar is a poster session, providing a valuable opportunity to engage with Australian and Japanese researchers.

This event is open to all.

This event presents an opportunity to meet and network with Australian and Japanese leaders in rare cancer research, including industry experts, thought leaders and senior government officials.

This event is open to all.
